Melbourne Fresh flowers Delivery Times and Information
Same Day Flower Delivery
We are excited to announce that we are using Express courier service for flower delivery in Melbourne so that your flowers will be delivered within 3-4 hours from pick up times.
Orders Monday - Friday:
Delivery between 11 AM to 5 PM for businesses and 10 AM to 6 PM for residential deliveries.The order will be delivered to the listed suburb on the same day if an order made before 1 PM on Monday to Friday.Most of the deliveries get delivered by 4 pm but sometimes due to Route of driver and traffic conditions it may get late by 5 PM.
If you need Time specific delivery then please email us/Chat before you place an order as we need to request this to Courier company and there will be additional Charges depending on delivery time.
Deliveries are made between 11:00AM - 3:00PM.
These cut off times do not apply to busy floral events including (but not limited to) Mother's Day, Valentine's Day and Christmas. Please check the website for the order cut off times for these days.
While Melbourne Fresh flowers offer customers the opportunity to nominate a preferred time of delivery (i.e. AM, PM or ASAP) it is not possible to guarantee that these times will be achieved. Consequently, there are often local reasons why an order cannot be delivered within your preferred time frame (for example, courier delivery times).
If the flowers are for a timed event (for example, a funeral or business location), the florists will do their best to assist. However, Melbourne Fresh flowers strongly recommend that you provide us with an alternative address so the flowers can be delivered elsewhere if too late for the timed event.
Name and Address:-
Make sure you have correct name and address for recipient along with contact information as it will save our time with your delivery.Please verify address and Courier company will charge us/you for redelivery to a different address.There will be Redelivery fees applicable in case recipient changes the address or address is incorrect so Please make sure all details are correct to avoid disappointment.
1) Courier company picks up flowers and delivery as per Address in the email ( and Instructions)
2) If its business then it goes to reception or mail room
3) If recipient is not at house/Unit then we -
a) We leave it at safe location and contact recipient
b) If it’s not safe then we bring it back to shop and redeliver next day ( Extra charges apply)
4) We always try to contact recipient /Sender if we are unable to deliver
5) As driver has to do other deliveries we CANNOT reroute your order instantly so it has to be next day
6) Secured ( Automated doors) Apartment and houses are most difficult to deliver flowers ( in case recipient is not at home) as most of the concierge refuse to accept flowers behalf of the recipient we try to contact recipient/sender to decide next course of action.
A local delivery fee is added to each order, for each address. Delivery of orders to rural route addresses, secured buildings or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed. We do not deliver to PO BOX or LOCKED BAG addresses.

We do not guarantee delivery to the following places:
• Intensive Care Units
• Army, Air force and Naval Bases
• Secure Buildings
• We apologies for any inconvenience but delivery to these areas and facilities are very difficult.
In some circumstances,for example, when delivering to some business addresses, hospitals or universities, we may not be able to deliver the flowers directly to the intended recipient. Please note that these circumstances are outside our control. In this case, we will deliver to the reception area or post room and(where possible) obtain a signature from the receptionist (or equivalent). This signature will be our record of delivery.
To ensure the highest likelihood of delivery success, please ensure that you provide as much information regarding the location of the recipient as possible within the delivery instructions, including department name, floor number, etc.
Hospital-specific delivery issues
Please insure patient is still admitted at hospital as courier companies charge re-delivery fees for change of address (You can ask Hospital reception). If the patient has been discharged we would be happy to arrange re-delivery to Patients residential address, but we will need to pass on the extra courier charges.
In the event that the patient is in intensive care, the Hospital will most likely be unable to acknowledge Flowers. You can ask hospital reception and confirm if they accept the flowers. If they don’t accept the flowers it might be best to hold up to send flowers once the patient is moved out of intensive care.
